It all started with a simple passion: cooking and watching people enjoy the meals I made back home in the south of beautiful Tanzania. That love grew as I began hosting lunch and dinner gatherings for friends and neighbors, sharing international and local dishes in the warm coastal air of Dar es Salaam.

In 2019, I launched my private catering journey and had the privilege of serving families in their homes. Along the way, I discovered baking, the calm, the aroma, and the magic of turning simple ingredients into something special. From that moment, I chose to specialize in it, and I haven’t stopped since.

Today, ShekyzKitchen is about creating joyful food experiences - from custom cakes and desserts to private chef services, meal prep, and hands-on cooking classes.
